CC Chatterjee Human Physiology Vol 2, 14e is the thoroughly revised and updated edition of the popular book dedicated to the fond memory of Dr Chandi Charan Chatterjee who had' written the book during India's Independence era. This book was widely read throughout the country and South East Asia and helped medical and paramedical students to hove firm understanding of the functional aspect of human body.

The integrated approach of Incorporating anatomy, physiology and biochemistry in this single textbook was marveled by all academicians and was one of the salient features of the book of all the eleven editions up to 1984. Prof Nitin John took the challenge of editing the eleventh edition to match the prescribed syllabus and twelfth edition of CC Chatterjee's Human Physiology was brought out In 2018. As the Medical Council of India recommended the Competency Based Curriculum, the thirteenth edition was structured to match the newly designed curriculum. The inputs flowing in from the academicians across the country were taken into consideration and the fourteenth edition of the book has been written as per the competency Based Curriculum now adopted by National Medical Commission.
